Peekskill, NY – The New York Legion Tackle Football Club opened camp on March 29, 2015 at Torpey Field in Depew Park. Torpey Field served as the New York Jets practice field from 1963 to 1969 and is now operated by the Peekskill High School. Although the temperatures were cooler than expected, the team had a good turn out and most of the new players already appeared to be acclimated to the team thanks to the team meetings held prior to the start of practice.
