Legion Defeat Bandits 14-6 Playoffs 2021

The NY Legion avenged the 8-0 season opening loss to the New York Bandits by beating them in the first round of the playoffs by a score of 14-8 on October 17, 2021 in Brooklyn NY

The NY Legion travelled to the Bandits designated home turf which was Brooklyn for this game. The NY Legion were in control of the game from the beginning. The NY Legion had a 14-0 lead until a 4th quarter TD by the Bandits made the game interesting towards the end. The Defense played a very strong game led by Thomas Roth, Greg Horowitz, Maurice Teele, and Marcus Adams.

The NY Legion offense scored enough points to keep the game under control and was led by Karim McFarlane, Mike Mersed, Shane Barker, Ralston Romero, and veterans Vaughn Gooding and Larry McLauchlin. The offensive line played an important role was manned by David Ramirez, Alen Peralta, Jonathan Lopez, Jay Powell, Dario Diodonet, and Jayson Epps.

The NY Legion advance to the second round of the play offs and will travel to Suffolk County Long Island to take on the Long Island Red Devils on Saturday October 23, 2021 in Medford, NY
